The special education department provides services to students with disabilities such as learning disabilities, other health disabilities, and emotional or behavioral disorders. A variety of services are available from direct specially designed instruction to consultation with general education staff. Students are provided the adaptations in mainstream classes that are needed for their disability area. There is also a focus on transitional issues in order to assist students with disabilities in achieving their post-secondary goals.
